Ms. Lecciones’ work in the areas of Environment and Natural Resources policy, planning, capacity development, project management, monitoring and evaluation, as well as knowledge management and communication helped shape the national agenda for sustainable development in the Philippines.  After coordinating the Philippine participation to the 1992 Earth Summit, she handled the Philippines Sustainable Development Networking Program of the UNDP which catalyzed the entry of the internet and initiated content creation to support decision-making on SD in the country.  As a founding member and Executive Director of the Society for the Conservation of Philippine Wetlands, Inc., she has steered the organization to facilitate networking among wetland advocates, engage in conservation activities, provide assistance in solving wetland-related issues, and support wetland management through CEPA*.  She has extensive experience in conducting Multi – Stakeholder Processes including CEPA Action Planning.  She was part of the Ramsar CEPA Oversight Panel (2009-2012) and is currently the Ramsar CEPA NGO Focal point for the Philippines.
