Help

The Wetland Health and Vitality foundation course ran for the first time in 2023, as a pilot for a longer-term learning platform. We therefore ask for your patience as it progresses.

Key questions

Who is running the Wetland Learning Hub?

WWT, a UK based international wetland NGO is running the course, with support from presenters across the wetland conservation world. The concept was supported by a panel of international experts. It is also closely linked to the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands of which WWT is an IOP (International Organisation Partner)

Can I currently enrol in the Wetland Health and Vitality foundation course?

Not at the moment. This course ran as a pilot in 2023. We are currently working on an updated version of this course. This course is not live at this time.

Is the Wetland Health and Vitality foundation course the only course the Wetland Learning Hub will offer?

No. This is just the first course that we have delivered as part of the pilot year. We are currently working on a permanent version of this course, it will be complemented by other, more advance courses.

Who is the Wetland Health and Vitality foundation course aimed at?

We have created this course for people already working in wetland conservation, to give a broad understanding of the issues involved. Participants could be working in government, as part of an NGO, as a consultant or in an academic capacity.
